DAY 1
Arrival to the Obli Vrh, Miljkovac. Traditional lunch prepared by the host in the mountaineering hut. After lunch you will visit the necropolis of tombstones (stećci) – Kuman and take part in an easy hike to Bandijerka (1209). The day will end with a cooking class with the host of the hut, preparing traditional dishes. Dinner in front of the hut. Star gazing. Overnight stay.
DAY 2
Breakfast. Departure to Sarajevo. Day 2 is reserved for a visit to Ethno Bey’s village where you will enjoy the sun and some coffee surrounded by nature in a village recreated to look like Baščaršija. After that you will head to Sarajevo and participate in a guided tour of the old town: Baščaršija, You will visit Vječna vatra (Eternal flame), Sebilj, City Hall and ride the cable car to Trebević with a beautiful view of Sarajevo. Return to Kladanj. Overnight stay.
DAY 3
Breakfast. End of program.

Accommodation
The “Obli vrh” mountaineering hut is located in the Goletići village, nestled between the Miljkovac and Konjuh Mountains. It is owned and operated by the Mountain Club “Miljkovac” from Kladanj and has a capacity to accommodate up to 40 people. The hut is conveniently situated 50 km from the airport and 12 km from Kladanj.
Attractions in the program
Necropolis Kuman, there’s no better way to delve into the traditions of the people than to experience their history firsthand! The Kuman necropolis features medieval tombstones known as stećci, which were characteristic of this region. In 2016, the Kuman necropolis was recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Bandijerka: positioned at an altitude of 1209 m, Bandijerka is one of the most captivating peaks in the Konjuh Mountains, offering both a rewarding climb and stunning panoramic views. Prepare to be awe-inspired by the untouched beauty of nature and capture some of the best photographs here.
Etno Bey’s village, this open-air museum showcases the traditional architecture of an old Bosnian mountain village and boasts the largest collection of traditional arts and crafts. The surrounding area is protected, creating a serene environment for visitors. Relish in delicious traditional cuisine and immerse yourself in the ambiance of “Baščaršija” without the crowds.
Sarajevo, often referred to as “European Jerusalem,” Sarajevo presents a fascinating blend of Ottoman and Austro-Hungarian architecture, representing a unique line where East meets West. Here you can hear harmonious sounds of church bells and minarets. Learn about the historic assassination that triggered the First World War and uncover the reasons behind Sarajevo’s nickname, “European Jerusalem.”
